A mobile app for schools fundraising. The idea behind the design is to be beneficial for all parties involved, to be user-friendly, and visually pleasing.

The goal behind the website design is to create a site that spread the word about the new app between the merchants and school parents

Identity-Logo Design Process

The goal behind the logo design is to emphasize the value created both for schools and local businesses by offering a fundraising platform that connects the two in a meaningful way. Several of the iterations are shown below. I led the process which involved consulting with the founders, marketing and others on the team.

Option 3 was chosen for V1.0 based on a tight implementation schedule. Plan to move to option 1 in future V1.1 release.

The final option uses more limited "real estate" per certificate which increases the "Buy" button importance.

Clear and concise design that is easy to use both by merchants and school parents

Increasing Findability:

Designed a well-defined information architecture and easy find functionality for user

Increasing comprehension: created an easy format to help users feel confident with the site information

Improving usability:

Placed the “Sign up” first in order to help the users to achieve their goals easily
